Easter at the Exploreum 2025: A Whimsical Wonderland of STEAM Fun for the Whole Family!

Join us on Saturday, April 5th, from 9:30 am to 2:00 pm for our highly anticipated Easter in Wonderland event — a fun-filled, family-friendly celebration that promises to be better than ever!

This year’s event offers a fresh and exciting twist with Alice in Wonderland-inspired STEAM activities and wacky illusions. Kicking off with the Exploreum Easter Egg Hunt, we’ll bring the magic of Easter together with the wonders of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) learning. The event features hands-on activities, interactive science experiments, and illusion-based fun that will captivate both kids and adults alike!

The Easter Egg Hunt will feature 10,000 prize-filled eggs, but make sure you are on time as these get snapped up fast. Then, dive into the curious world of Alice in Wonderland with themed STEAM adventures, including:

• Illusions and sensory experiments that explore the brain and the science behind perception.
• Magic cards and fun STEM challenges with the Red Queen.
• Color-changing chemistry experiments with the White Rabbit, featuring the famous chemistry clock.
• A thrilling liquid nitrogen demonstration, including the shattering of painted roses!

Delicious Treats & Family Fun
Take a break and enjoy a refreshing treat from the Southern Cream Ice Cream Truck, or stop by for face painting by Starshine Faces. At noon, don’t miss the Animal Tales animal ambassador presentation, where you’ll meet some amazing critters up close.

Special Showing of Disney’s Alice in Wonderland (1951)
Catch a screening of the beloved Disney classic Alice in Wonderland at 10:45 am and 2:00 pm in our PCI Digital Dome Theater. Seating is limited, and spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis, so be sure to reserve your seats early to avoid missing out!

• General Admission: $12 for non-members
• Free Admission for members
• Members must still reserve their spot in the theater to watch the movie.
