In a time when most science fiction movies have been striving towards more accurate physics, with scientist consultants on the payroll, the Star Wars movies by contrast seem to remain resolutely unhampered by such concerns. Not surprisingly, several books, blogs, articles, and YouTube channels have picked apart the blockbuster saga. Is there any physics that Star Wars actually portrayed correctly? This is the question which is explored by Dr. Gapud, from the point of view of both physics professor and self-proclaimed veteran Star Wars fan.
