The Exploreum Science Center is proud to announce an exclusive Cigar Night with local Havana Rey’s Cigar Shop & Lounge.
Join us for a super limited event at the Exploreum in conjunction with our current exhibit, ¡Cuba!
We will have a brief discussion on the history of cigars, rolling techniques, and Q&A. Attendees will also have access to tour our ¡Cuba! exhibit as part of admission, featuring a replica of a cigar rolling shop in Cuba.
Tickets are $40 in advance and $50 the day of the event (if available).
Ticket price includes one cigar ticket provided by Havana Rey’s as well as two drink tickets and light hors d’oeuvres.
Havana Rey’s Cigar Shop & Lounge is a family-owned upscale cigar shop and lounge located in the Historic
Midtown Area of Mobile, Alabama. Havana Rey’s is named after the owner, Rey Mañas, who immigrated from Havana Cuba in 1959. After working in multiple cities throughout the United States, Rey and his family made Mobile, Alabama home. Rey’s strong entrepreneurship started with Cottage Hill Package Store, located in West Mobile. With the help of his sons, Andrew, Michael, and Patrick, Cottage Hill Package Store quickly became known for their humidor and large selection of premium hand rolled cigars.
A designation area in our outdoor courtyard will be available for those who would like to try out their cigars on site. (Smoking in other areas is strictly prohibited.)
